My name is Jakob; I am 28 years old, and I recently moved from the USA to Heidelberg to be a postdoctorate at the University of Heidelberg in mathematics. I unfortunately don’t know much German (yet), so I would need to communicate in English at first but I do want to practice German.
I am looking to move in with other Christian men that would be a welcoming community; currently I live alone (in a 1 person apartment) which is not ideal for me. I am easy-going, reliable, and clean, enjoy deep conversations about God and the world, and I enjoy hiking, board games, and playing music as hobbies.
What I hope for in an apartment:
-600€ or less per month of rent and utilities
-At most a 30 minute commute to Neuenheimer Feld by bike or public transport
-I would want to stay between 2 and 4 years.
